Truecaller Launches Covid Hospital Directory Feature for Users in India

Truecaller has now launched a Covid Hospital Directory for its users in India. The directory is integrated directly into the application and you can access it from the menu or from the dialer. The directory includes phone numbers and addresses of various designated Covid hospitals.

These hospitals are spread across several states across the country and are sourced from official government databases. There is a search button which will help you find the required information quickly. It is important to note that it does not guarantee the availability of hospital beds.

“We wanted to quickly introduce a simple directory of important numbers for Covid-related services. We started with this list of hospitals and are working to add other verified sources soon, ”said Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Managing Director India, Truecaller. “We offer the support of the entire organization and the Truecaller platform, to anyone we can help,” he added.

Twitter also introduced a Covid-19 vaccine information box to user timelines earlier this week, which aims to encourage more people to get vaccinated. The platform even introduced a new advanced feature that allows users to search for relevant results closer to them. Check out the link below to learn more about the feature.

“As COVID-19 vaccinations become more widely available, we want you to have access to the latest information on vaccines in your country. This week, you’ll see a prompt in your timeline that links to sources on safety, vaccine efficacy, and news from public health experts, ”Twitter said in a tweet.

The availability of the new features of these platforms comes at a time when people are using social media heavily to search for information on hospitals, beds, oxygen cylinders, Covi treatment drugs like Remdesivir and other necessities. to treat their family and friends.
